Directions to Los Almendros de Ocotal

When you leave the airport follow the access road to the main highway. Make a right turn on this highway, you will see the airport on the right. Continue on this road. The German Bakery (great apple strudel) is on the left. Continue on past the River Tempisque. The Tempisque has two bridges over it side by side although only one is used. Go past the the Do It center on your right. About two miles after the bridge there is a gas station on the left. After the gas station, make a right turn on the road to the Beaches.

A couple miles after this turn you will see the three story Catfish Restaurant on the right. Great food and lots of fun. Continue on the main road. There is a turn off to the right for the Playa Hermosa area and playa Panama area but stay on the main road to Coco. Continue on past the Luperon Super market on the left and the Pacifico development on the right to the road to Ocotal. Turn left at Super Compro. If you get to the Ocean double back you passed the turnoff by about 200 yards.

After making a left turn on the Road to Ocotal you will go over a little bridge, keep to the right. Stay on the main paved road. You will go up a hill and on the left you will see a large gate with a guard. Don't go there but head in the direction of the beach. About 200 yards later make a right turn into Los Almendros. The office is right after you enter Los Almendros. Register and pick up your key. Enjoy
